About Lean28
Lean28 is a free tool that turns your weight, height and trouble spots into a 28-day meal plan and workout plan.
Who makes it
Lean28 is made by Tarun. I built it because most fat-loss plans online don't show where their numbers come from, and I wanted one that does.
How your plan is built
Your calorie target comes from the Mifflin-St Jeor equation, adjusted for your activity level. The plan then sets a steady deficit, capped at safe limits, and a protein target based on published research. Meals use whole foods, and training follows the World Health Organization's activity guidelines.
Every number links to a peer-reviewed study or official guideline. See the full method and the list of sources.
What Lean28 is not
Lean28 is not medical advice, and it can't replace a doctor or registered dietitian. It is written for healthy adults aged 18 and over. Please speak to a professional first if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have had an eating disorder, or manage a condition or medication.
What the plan can't do
No exercise removes fat from one chosen area. The area you pick adds training for the muscles underneath, but fat loss happens across the whole body. The site explains this with sources on the home page.
Corrections
If you spot a mistake, please tell us. We fix errors and update the "Last reviewed" date on the home page.
How Lean28 is paid for
Lean28 is free to use. It's paid for by ads shown through Google AdSense. Ads never change your plan, and nobody pays to influence what the plan recommends.
